Ian R. Davis
Chairman, Non-Executive Director

Senior partner and previously National Chairman of international law firm, Minter Ellison, Mr. Davis has extensive experience in the corporate and commercial area of law in which he practices. Currently he is Chairman of Produce and Grocery Industry Code Administration Committee and non Executive Chairman of Redflex Holdings Ltd since September 2009.  He was formerly non executive Chairman of Recovcorp Pty Ltd from April 2007 to May 2010 and UCMS Group Pty Ltd from November 2006 to August 2009.


Michael A. Brockhoff
Managing Director

Appointed Managing Director in June 2000, Mr. Brockhoff has extensive and broad ranging experience within the road transport industry, with a variety of roles and achievements during his 22 years with the Linfox Group. Mr. Brockhoff was Managing Director of the Linfox Australian and NZ Logistics Group from 1994-1999 as well as being a director of the Road Transport Forum, the Australian road transport peak body, from 1996-1999.


James R. Curtis
Deputy Chairman, Non-Executive
Mr. Curtis was appointed Deputy Chairman in 1994.  Mr. Curtis was one of the founders of the Group in 1972. He has 50 years experience in the transport equipment industry and is a pioneer of fibreglass road transport equipment in Australia.
Geoffrey F. Lord
Director, Non-Executive
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Belgravia Group and Executive Chairman of UXC Limited since September 2002. Chairman of LCM Litigation Fund Pty Ltd (formerly Australian Litigation Fund), Melbourne Victory Limited since November 2004, Terrain Capital Ltd since May 2002. Director of the following companies: Institute of Drug Technology Limited since October 1998, Ausmelt Limited since February 2001, KLM Group Ltd since May 2006, and Northern Energy Corporation since December 2007. Formerly a director of Auto Group Limited from April 1999 to February 2006, Triako Resources Limited from May 2000 to September 2006, Adelhill Limited from February 1993 to March 2008 and The Mac Services Group Ltd from April 2007 to June 2009.
Robert H. Wylie
Director, Non-Executive

Mr. Wylie has wide ranging experience in professional service in a variety of professional management roles with Deloitte. Most recently he held senior positions with Deloitte Touche USA LLP. Prior to this, he was Deputy Managing Partner Asia Pacific. This followed a long career with Deloitte Australia, including eight years as National Chairman. Mr. Wylie also served on the Global Board of Directors and the Governance Committee of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and the Global Board of Directors of Deloitte Consulting. Mr Wylie is also a former National President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Director of the following companies: Elders Limited since November 2009 and Centro Properties Limited and CPT Manager Limited since October 2008.

A qualified accountant and Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia. Joined MaxiTRANS in May 2008 following 15 years in general and senior management in listed, international and private companies. Extensive experience in financial, operational and business development fields, including strategy and acquisitions.
Andrew Wibberley
General Manager - Lusty EMS
Joined MaxiTRANS in May 2000. Qualified industrial engineer. Prior experience predominantly in the steel industry through the Smorgon Group (ARC Reinforcing and Smorgon Wire/Rural) with 17 years operational management experience. Formerly General Manager – Manufacturing, responsible for Ballarat and Hallam manufacturing and engineering operations. Assumed responsibility for general management of Lusty EMS in December 2005.
Peter Loimaranta
General Manager - Colrain
Promoted to General Manager of Colrain in June 2007 after joining the Company in June 2005 as Colrain's Financial Controller. Certified Accountant with formal qualifications in Commerce supported by significant financial experience in Australia and Asia with major listed construction and materials companies.
Andrew Millar
General Manager - MaxiTRANS New Zealand

Joined MaxiTRANS in April 2007. Tertiary qualified in mechanical engineering and an MBA graduate. Over 25 years experience in manufacturing including senior sales, marketing and general management positions. Worked previously for New Zealand manufacturing and distribution companies including Carter Holt Harvey, Interlock Group and James Walker. Responsible for the manufacturing, marketing, sales and service of Freighter and Maxi-CUBE products in New Zealand.


Paul Buttler
General Manager - Manufacturing
Joined MaxiTRANS in 2001 and played a major role in the upgrade of the Ballarat manufacturing facility. Subsequent roles as  Site Services Manager,  Production Manager and Manufacturing Manager  followed by Engineering Manager. A degree qualified mechanical engineer, currently undertaking an MBA. Appointed to the position of General Manager Manufacturing in August 2011 with responsibility for Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply functions at Ballarat and also the Hallam Panel Plant.

Kevin Manfield
General Manager - Maxi-CUBE
Over 25 years experience in the design, manufacture and sales of temperature controlled transport equipment. Formerly General Manager - Manufacturing. Joined the Group in 1981. Responsible for National Fleet sales and the product management and sales of Maxi-CUBE products.
Rod Cunningham
General Manager - Freighter
Joined MaxiTRANS in May 2006. Tertiary business qualifications supported by technical qualifications in the field of heavy vehicle maintenance. 20 years transport industry experience from workshop management, through sales and operational management roles in the fields of materials handling, OE components and heavy duty trucks. Formerly National Sales Manager at Scania Australia. Responsible for National Fleet sales together with product and sales management responsibility for Freighter products.
Neil Zantuck
General Manager- MaxiTRANS Victoria Dealership
Over 25 years management experience in the Australian transport industry. Joined MaxiTRANS in October 2007. Prior positions include senior management positions in sales, service, finance and dealer operations. Responsible for all aspects of MaxiTRANS' Victoria Branch, including sales of new and used equipment and service and repair operations.
Craig Wallace
General Manager - Hamelex White
Joined Hamelex White in November 2006 as National Sales and Marketing Manager and promoted to General Manager in October 2010.  Over 20 years of experience in the transport industry in Australia and New Zealand, supported by an MBA and tertiary qualifications in business management and marketing.  Formerly General Manager of an Australian importer and distributor of OEM components. Prior to that, National Sales and Marketing Manager for New Zealand’s largest OEM supplier.
Stuart McMurtrie
Group Marketing Manager
Joined MaxiTRANS in December 2000 following 11 years in the automotive industry and 13 years in the plastics industry. Tertiary qualified as a mechanical engineer with post graduate qualifications in marketing. Extensive experience in marketing, sales and product development in industrial markets.
Ian Else
Group Human Resources Manager
Joined MaxiTRANS in February 2003 with 25 years experience in human resources in a variety of manufacturing companies plus three years in production management in the automotive components industry. Operated his own labour hire agency for three years. Currently based at Derrimut.
Robert Schroen
Group Supply Manager
Joined MaxiTRANS in February 2001, following 17 years in materials management roles in the plastics, automotive and metals fabrication manufacturing sectors. Post graduate qualifications in materials management & transport/logistics.
